So far so good I have two of these in my 65g tall tank. The set-up and maintenance is fairly easy, and the maintenance gets easier-and-easier when you get used to the unit. My water is well-filtered, and this canister is very quiet, you can barely hear a thing. One important tip: Make sure you check the connections carefully on the top of the canister, if you move the hoses around they can get loose, and make sure they aren't twisting in different directions or the connection at the top of the canister will not be snug and it could actually come undone, it happened to me and I had a small flood but it was my fault because I moved the hoses too much and didn't realize the connection loosened. Overall I recommend this canister it's very good.
