My Favorite Hyde Book Yet
This story is told by Angie, who is working hard to keep her family together while they struggle to keep the bare basics - a roof over their head and food on their table. Angie's little sister, Sophie, has an Autism-like disorder that makes it hard for the family to find and keep a home. Sophie improved significantly after bonding with the neighbor's dog, and when the neighbor moves and they once again lose their housing arrangements, their mom follows the neighbor. Hyde has a great ability to make you fall in love with her characters. Angie is no exception. Angie tells her side of the story with grace and maturity, and I couldn't put the book down. I've read most of Hyde's books and enjoyed them all, but this one is easily my favorite and I finished it in just a couple days. I highly recommend it!
