Seems to work good. I had the Contech Scarecrow before which didn't work very good, it had problems such as the battery compartment not being water proof and water shorting the batteries out and erratic operation. This sprinkler is much better, it has a metal stake with a bar to push in the ground with your foot, the battery compartment is waterproof and doens't leak, the water throws farther and is more adjustable, and this has a lot more settings such as day/night. I bought this to scare away stray cats and it seems to work. See my video.
