Use common sense when taking
I am not giving medical advice but expressing on opinion and my observations. I began to use evening primrose oil as I reached menopause to offset the reduction in estrogen as I aged. I took it consistently on a daily basis then noticed that I was experiencing a sort of menstrual cycle. I did a lot of reading and found the following: 1. Estrogen is also protective of the heart and some hold the opinion that this is the reason men experience heart attacks more frequently. 2. It should be taken for thirty days then give the body a rest. 3. If you have any medical condition you should determine if it is safe before ingesting. As for me, I found that taking it under these guidelines, I experience less mental fog, less weird weight gain and better sleep. I also appreciate the heart protective factor as I had experienced a viral heart condition over a decade ago and had damaged heart muscle. Run your personal condition past your health practitioner or an independent third party who is not selling the product. My personal choice is WebMD as I saw hard copy of it in my cardiologist's office so I have confidence in it. I stopped taking it for a bit and bought more now because I noticed my hair beginning to fall out. After just a few days of taking it that was reversed. Herbs are an amazing thing for health and we are truly blessed to have them available: I personally like this better than pregnant mare urine, which is the source of a common prescription estrogen replacement. Thank you for taking time to read my thoughts.
