Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

We bought this for my son who is upgrading to a big-boy-bed. We bought another similar for our other son a year or so ago, and I did the same treatment to this one that I did the other, which was cut off the legs of the bottom bed (to make it lower, since he's a little boy) and installed casters (makes life so much easier to be able to roll the bed around to clean and change bedding). I also used 2-hole mending plates (from Home Depot) to connect the top and bottom bed at each corner (so the system stays together when we're moving/rolling the bed around). In doing those modifications, I found this bed is made from very nice, clean Malaysian hardwood. The fit and finish is excellent, and it assembled nicely. For the $175 I paid (with free delivery), it's a deal! I'd recommend it to anyone.
