I've recently purchased 3 different LED flame-like products and this and my other TomCare purchase were the best. Another product that I purchased that claimed to be flame-like, looked like blinking LED lights and were very fake looking. I returned those immediately. I don't know how to determine whether the "claim" of being flame-like has any sort of industry rating, so for now, I'm going to stick with TomCare products. Note, in addition to this TomCare product, I also purchased tiki torches called "TomCare Solar Lights 2nd Version Flickering Flame Solar Torches Lights Waterproof Outdoor Lighting Solar Powered Pathway Lights Landscape Decoration Lighting Auto On/Off for Garden Patio Yard, 4 Pack". Between the two, the tiki torches are even more realistic than than the lanterns, but still, the lanterns look very good. I did notice that the 4-pack of tiki torches that I purchased for $59.99 are now $76.99. Not sure what justifies a 28% price increase in just 4 days. It's mid-April in Austin, TX so we are getting more and more daily sunlight. My wife noticed that the lights came on around 8:30pm and were still on when she took the dogs for a morning walk in the dark at 6am. That's a long time!
