My teens have been begging for one of these and I didn't want to spend $200-- plus I wanted to avoid the BIG problem of the Keurig 2.0 requiring use of Keurig only branded K-cups. That's a deal-breaker for me that you will avoid by getting this machine. The single cup size is perfect to enjoy a cup and keep the teens from overdoing the caffeine. I saw a recall for the minis, but I bought this one at a local Dept Store for under $100 and was assured it was not the problem models (they'd removed them). It has a small footprint so we can set it up on a small cafe table where the teens hang out. I bought a Cafe Europa K-Cup assortment and trying all the different flavors of tea/coffee/cocoa is fun. I also bought a Gold Tone refillable K-cup system to use any ground coffee and it works great. Keurig offers a buy one get on free K-cup offer with the registration card in the box. You can get a really good deal on K-cups from their site, as little as 33 cents per cup for official cups.
