I was very ready to dislike this. It's an off brand and the app looks kind of strange. I've bought a bunch of cheap chinese technology lately and half of it is kind of garbage. I bought this after the Petnet I was using just wouldn't powerup. Petnet had alot of design issues and so I was ready to look elsewhere. What I was looking for in an automatic feeder: 1) Wifi enabled, smart home ready with an app attached to it 2) Large capacity hopper that would hold atleast 8 pounds of food. 3) Multiple schedules available with specific food amounts for each. 4) Power outlet NOT a non robust plugin like a micro usb that breaks quickly and then won't allow you to recharge. 5) It actually WORKS and doesn't jam This thing does all of these things and does them well. I have 6 feedings setup with different food amounts each. No jamming and feed sizes are always uniform. I like the webcam too (even though I wasn't actively searching for that). This stands on its own merit even without the webcam but the webcam, surprisingly, works. It always connects, and while the resolution isn't HD sharp, you can see see everything clearly. My cat doesn't respond when I use the audio part of the webcam but...my roommate does. He thinks the basement where the cat feeder sits is haunted. I still haven't told him theres a voice function thru the webcam app. I probably never will...
