I purchased this keyboard to use with my Acer A100 tablet. Unfortunately the A100 only has a slave usb port. The keyboard requires a host usb port. What this means is that the A100's usb port is only used for connecting to another computer for data transfer. It will not work with any other usb device such as a keyboard, flash drive etc. I still give it four stars because I think it is very well made/designed, with solid keys. I am using it now to type this review on my MacBook. So make sure your tablet has a host usb port before you buy any usb accessory. You may have to check with your tablet manufacturer. And it does not matter if you have a regular, mini or micro usb port - it just has to be a HOST port.
