I have had this chair for a week now and been using it everyday. Here are my thoughts: I would like to start by saying this is a budget friendly chair. Do no expect this to have quality materials that you would see on a $200 plus chair. That being said, this chair exceeded my expectations. When you receive this chair you will need to assemble it. Do not worry about not having the tools. This is shipped with an allen wrench and that is all you will need. They put instructions in the box but assembly is pretty self explanatory and I feel like anyone could put this bad boy together in less than 30 minutes. The material used is pretty good. The base of the chair is metal and of nice quality. The main structure of the chair seems to be mostly plastic. The plastic is strong and it feels like it will last awhile without breaking. The arm rest are made from a strong plastic. They attach to the side of the chair. They seem strong but I would not lean to one side for an extended amount of time because it will start to pull away from the seat. The arm rest are not adjustable but they are at they are perfect where they are. The leather like material used for the padding is really nice. It doesn't look or feel cheap at all. The stitching is very nice on this chair and I am not worried about it coming undone. You have the ability to adjust the height if need be. I don't not have a tape measure so I am unable to give you exact numbers. You also have the option to lock the chair in the upright position. If you pull the handle it allows you to lean back freely. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. For the price this is a win. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap chair that will last.
