I did weeks of research on high end Bluetooth speakers(JBL, Harman, Fugoo, Bose, etc) and being a very indesisive person, it was a difficult task.
After laying out all my findings the decision was pending on Sound vs Convenience. In other words, do you want the speaker that you can throw in a bag, has 35 hours of battery, and is waterproof..... Or the speaker that will beat the block down. At the end of the day I chose SOUND and I could not be happier. This speaker has great bass and if you were playing baseball in the outfield and this speaker was at home plate, you could hear it clearly. Can the competition do that? Not even close.
The battery last for 8 hours, which isn't bad but Aiwa just released a backup battery for purchase that gives you an extra 18 hours. Total of 26 hours+. I'll be using this while at my campsite when I go to music fest, so excited.
Go against the grain with these "is that as loud as it goes" Pringles can shaped speakers that are peasants compared to the king of the block... Aiwa Exos 9.
I attached a pic of my house after I turned it on. :)
