I have tried DC fix contact papers prior to this one and I was definitely pleased...this is no exception!! My countertops are from 1995 and had plenty of dings and other damage ... and we don't have a lot of money so this is the route I chose ... and I couldn't be happier with the end results. This stuff is really a DIY dream.. I took my time and didn't rush it and it came out great! My counters go around both of the longer walls in my kitchen and I needed 6 rolls, 5 was so close to doing it but just not quite enough. I did caulk around my sink to avoid any water damage , using a utility knife is key to clean edges too. Also, instead of trying to "wrap" it on the underside (which is partical wood in my case and wouldn't stick) I just cleanly cut it off even with the old laminate line. I did do this project alone without any help and had no problems. I would say start in a less noticeable area and work your way from there until u get the hang of it.. design bends well, so it's pretty forgiving... Overall no complaints .. going to do my bathroom counters next!
