great product. on my 3rd bag. Do NOT follow the instructions on the bag. I use it with Behr Marquee in a proportion of 2 to 1 (2 parts paint for 1 part c carbonate, NO WATER) mix is EXACTLY like Annie Sloan paint. Actually, I'd say it's better. Here's what I do: - get a PERFECT chalk paint mix - 1 part c carbonate to 2 parts paint. no water required. I normally mix 1 cup of c carbonate to 2 cups of paint (half of the quart can) and can paint 2 very intricate dressers and have left over - mix half of the powder, stir well (i use a $10 dollar hand mixer) and then add the rest and mix some more - until there are no lumps.. Store it in a mason jar and it will keep for months.
