First off, to those out there who are struggling with their controller setups on smash ultimate, this controller falls under the pro-controller/joy-con setup. You DO NOT use the gamecube controller setup to change the controls for this controller. On the control setup screen, there's a "in use" bubble over which controller scheme you are using. I hope this saves some anguish for some. That being said, I like this controller! It feels pretty similar to the regular gamecube controller, while heavier at the same time! Works pretty well with ultimate, and its nice to have a controller that feels like a gamecube controller, but is useable in other switch games! I only have a few gripes with this controller 1. HD rumble/rumble support would have been nice. I personally don't care much for an NFC reader/writer, but Idk, it just felt nice having rumble. 2. Batteries. Not a huge issue if you have rechargeable ones (which aren't too expensive), but it would have been nice. 3. The ZR trigger feels...off for some reason. It's harder to click into compared to the ZL trigger. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice not to have this issue.
