This is a great box set. It comes with the first eight original films. A lot of people are making a stink about this set for stupid reasons. Some don't like the box art. I'm not a big fan of the box art either. But, it's box art. I'm not going to ignore the set because of the picture on the box. From my understanding, these are the exact same quality of Bluray films, with the same special features, as what comes in the old Bluray box set. (Not sure if Part 3 is still in 3D or not. Will find out and update when I get it.) This Bluray box set is only the first eight films, not all twelve like the old Bluray box set. That's important to understand. There are four movies you will not be getting here. Here's the thing, if you can get the old Bluray box set at a sane price, do that for sure and get all the movies. It's the better set, by far, because it has them all. But, the old box set was set up as a limited time deal between Warner and Paramount that has now expired. So far, it's the one and only time all of the movies have been in one box set. It will likely never happen again. The problem with getting the old box set at a sane price is that it was a very limited collector's run, in a metal box, and is now out of print. For all these reasons, it is going on Amazon for $529.99. So, you have to ask yourself, $26.24 or $529.99 for the same quality movies in Bluray? What makes this box set so great is that it gets these movies (at least the first eight films) back in print and out there for people to buy at a fair price. There are so many people playing the new game that have never seen the movies. They ask me if they can get them on Bluray. I used to have to say, "Not unless you want to spend hundreds of dollars on them." I hated giving that answer. Now, I tell them that they can get the first eight at a fair price with this box set.
