Update 2/11/19 after almost 2 years: I bought 2 of these units, and one of them is finally giving out. I rotate them twice a day. I think this is a great deal for the price. I am going to buy a replacement, and I would still recommend this product. ------- The feeders work great, but the sound and action of the rotation scared them to death for a couple of days. (Attached video is after a couple of feedings.) I reassured them with treats and laid food out in front of the feeder for one of them. They have never tried to open them, but my cats are not the smartest.. I only use Duracell batteries, and the first set have lasted for at least 2 months. I do two daily feedings. I went out of town recently and the feeders worked just fine. I would recommend this product, but be careful introducing a new routine to sensitive babies.
