At first I opened the box, separated the pieces, and thought to myself, "This is just a flashlight that connects to a bike handlebar using a simple connector." (Plus it comes with a separate blinker that would make for an even safer riding experience.) So at first I was a bit underwhelmed. But then I used the product, and the beauty is definitely in it's simplicity. First, it's very tough - a durable metal encasement that looks like it will last a long time. Second, it's easy to set up and looks great. Third, it's flexible (again, because it's "just a flashlight that connects to a bike handlebar"). Many similar lights are such that you connect it to the bike and it just stays in place forever. but with this product, you can easily disconnect the device and just use it as a flashlight, whether you're out on a trail at night, or just at home when you need an extra flashlight. Also, as a side note, it's very easy to turn on while riding - but difficult to accidentally turn off. I'm very happy with this product and look forward to using it this coming spring as the weather gets nicer!
