One reviewer stated they did not like the lid since it was harder for them to get a lot of water at once. There is a way to position your lips on the lid that allows water to pour into your mouth rapidly. Rather than wrapping your lips around the opening, use the lid like a soda bottle and leave a tiny gap near the top of the opening for air to enter and prevent a vacuum from forming. I use the Summit bottle and this lid and a boot as my daily water bottle. I bring it to the gym to swim, to work, and I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase.
