Oh sweet bag of poo, how i don't love you but need you. Our little 13lb Chuck goes through 2 to 3 bags per day and we just started to finish up with the amazonbasics brand of bags which were just fine. I decided to be adventurous and try a new brand. How does it stack up? Size Same width as the amazonbasics, but 1inch shorter Thickness Feels a little thinner than amazonbasics, but still strong. I did a finger poke test and it resisted tearing about the same as the competition. I also tried rubbing it against sandpaper to approximate grabbing poo off of concrete, and it held up totally fine. The rolls are physically smaller than the amazonbasics, but that's probably mostly due to them not having a plastic core Visibility/See through It's biggest weakness for some folks will be that it's much more see-through. It's not completely transparent, but does show through a lot more than the amazonbasics black bags. Value Competes with the least expensive out there, can't complain there. Dispenser On one hand, it feels like fairly low end plastic, but i do really like the tab that automatically separates the last bag as you pull it. Very neat indeed. I was a little concerned about it tearing bags, but thus far it has not. My main issue is that frequently the next bag slips inside and i need to open it up to get at it. Green? Listed as biodegradable, which is a good consideration vs other bags which may last years upon years. Summ'ed up: They're a bit smaller and more see-through, and thus lost a star, but i'm perfectly pleased with them, especially with the price
