I will admit that I was very skeptical about the quality of a juicer at this price point. I had had a few glasses of fresh squeezed orange juice this summer and the oranges were so good, I knew I needed an alternative to doing it by hand or paying Jamba Juice $6 a glass, so I decided to turn to Amazon. The reviews for this item were really good and the price was 1/2 or 1/3 of the next juicer I was considering. I decided for the price, it was worth trying out. Man, was I impressed! The juicer works really, really well. There are some complaints about not getting all the juice from the pulp, but this really is a non-issue in my opinion. The amount of juice that this juicer extracts is incredible. I personally would just take a spoon and eat the non-juiced pulp and get my fiber along with my juice - alternately, I guess you could put it in some cheesecloth and get incrementally more juice, but I don't think the little amount more is worth the effort or clean up. Speaking of cleanup, this juicer is incredibly easy to clean! I don't know if it's recommended, but I just throw the 3 or 4 parts into the top rack of my dishwasher and do a light wipe down of the rest of the juicer. Very, very quick and easy cleanup. I was concerned about the juicer parts being plastic, but they are super sturdy and had no issues at all. I am not a big lover of small appliances, but I would say this ranks up with my Kitchenaid stand mixer that I've owned for over 24 years, and I'm sure that I will be loving this juicer for many, many years to come!
