Cheaper than therapy.
Since our first encounter, my relationship with cling wrap has been nothing but tumultuous. I can't recall a single time when I was able to simply and easily utilize it for any task, no matter how careful I was. I spent years avoiding it- investing in cheap plastic containers to store food, instead of facing the dreaded box of Saran Wrap. This, however, led to an entire cabinet spilling over with a dingy, mismatched, embarrassing booby trap of a container collection. Highly undesirable. Then, I found ChicWrap. I read all the reviews, good and bad, and decided to go for it, thinking, "surely this $15 gadget will be nothing but a waste, but what the heck?" Upon its arrival, I was surprised, like some others, that it was comprised of cardboard. But then, a cling wrap holder does not need to be waterproof and endure high temperatures (not in my kitchen, at least). Assembling the feet was a perfect craft project for someone with little time and a short attention span, and it also made me feel more invested in my ChicWrap. After using it for the first time, I knew my relationship with cellulose was forever changed. Now, I relish every opportunity to whip it out. I show it off in front of my mother, to show her what a fantastic adult I've become. I brandish it at gatherings and appear unattainably cutting edge (ha). I bought one for my grandma, and we compare our ChicWrap experiences over the phone. My darling husband even complimented, "this is the only thing you've ever spent money on that was actually worth it." Victory! Thank you, ChicWrap!
