I travel with a white noise machine, so that strange noises don't keep me up. I have a larger, sturdier version at home, which means that I go t sleep with the sound of white noise every night. However, my most recent travel white noise machine was left behind at a hotel, which means I was in the market for a new one. And Here She Is! This tiny and adorable little owl is a terrific noise machine, with three or four choices of sound (my daughter grabbed this immediately, and has taken it on a trip, so I can't remember every detail), including my favorite, boring old white noise. The machine has a gradually dimming night light, which is great for the little ones who cannot sleep without the light on, and the handle makes this simple to move from room to room as the child goes, say, from his own bed to Mom and Dad's. The machine is much smaller than I was expecting, perhaps 6"or so in height, and much more cute than in the picture. I can't think of a single improvement to make this machine nicer, and because it is so terrific, I'm keeping it. Now, I have to get it back from my daughter!
