At first it works not so well...but as I get hang of it things are getting better

For those who complain about hard crust, wrap foil around the bucket before putting it into the machine.

Try your own recipes instead of those on the manual, it could work perfectly well.
I change from 4 stars to 5 stars because I have gone through a lot of other bread machines and stand mixers, and realize that my Oster is a great deal. I should never expect this machine could knead the dough like the $400 KitchenAid stand mixer does, however that is enough for me. Now I only use the dough function to mix ingredients and do the first rise with it. To be honest, if you are a professional and picky bread maker (or wanna be one), switch to KitchenAid. Bread machines are never powerful enough to knead doughs perfectly.
Love this machine anyway. It does produce perfect loaves if I am not such a stubborn whole wheat lover.
The reason I failed so many times was that I was determined to bake 100% whole wheat bread. Actually if you use bread flour and follow the recipe it would turn out to be a brilliant loaf. For whole wheat option, use delay timer would help, or immense at least 1/3 of the whole wheat flour you use in the water for couple of hours before you put them in the machine.
However bread flour is the best option with no doubt.
