We enjoyed these lights at Christmas, and i think I will be using them for evening events we through on summer nights. They are nice and bright lights, and the batteries last about a month, and that’s after several nights of forgetting to shut them off and running all day and night. The remote does have a timer, but if you have kids that have fun with switching the settings (like i do) then its all too easy for them to shut off the timer. The remote works well, and for as thin and small as the light strips are, they fan out beautifully and hold their shape. Overall a very pretty light and nice effect to add to any space.
