My cats DESTROYED my regular window blind. My bathroom window is 60 inches wide and faces a very busy road. I love the window being open all day but I close the blind when I shower and do my makeup. However that was apparently to much each day for my cats as they would bust through them. When my blind finally hit its last straw last week I decided to order this kind instead. So I cant speak to the cutting of this blind, because I needed it to be the size it came. It fit perfectly into my window. Installing took all of 30 seconds. I took it out of the box, made sure it was the right size, took of the tape backing, and pressed it up. For the people who reviewed saying install was extremely difficult and the instructions were hard to follow... I guess I don't see what their problem was. It literally couldn't have been any easier. Like I said, I didn't have to cut mine, but still... that doesn't add that big of a headache. Mine is staying up just great and if it ever did start to sag I saw when its pulled all the way down you could very easily add a screw or two to secure it. I might do that anyway, because my cats are jerks. It pulls down so smoothly and stays exactly where I put it. It also goes back up great. I was hesitant thinking it might now stay nicely but it was definitely a great buy. I took a picture of it up all the way and down partially, however my cats (jerks) wouldn't allow for me to pull it all the way down yet...
