The mattress converted my pack and play into a functionable bed for my infant! The pack and play we have: Graco Pack 'n Play Playard with Cuddle Cove Rocking Seat, I have a toddler and a 7 months old. I didn’t feel like buying another crib when my toddler will soon be in a bed. In the mean time I bought this mattress so that I can use the pack and play as a bed. This mattress makes the pack and play much more comfortable. The hard small padding that comes with the pack and play is just not soft enough for a child to be sleeping on all night. I definitely recommend getting the 3 inch instead of the 5 inch. It’s the perfect height where I do not have to worry about her being able to stand up and fall out (at least at this point 13 lbs, 25 inches long). There are SMALL amounts of space/gaps on the sides. This may be an issue for a VERY young child (2-4 months) but at 7 months this is not a problem. If she did stick her finger into the side she could very easily pull it out. This has never happened. Another nice feature is the fact that the cover on the mattress is waterproof, hence if there is spit up or anything I do not have to worry about the mattress getting ruined. I can clean it up easily. Comfort: On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best- I would say this is about a 6 in comfort. I knocked of a star because I wish it was more similar to the softness of a crib mattress. It’s slightly firm, which makes it safe. For a child who has not slept on anything SUPER comfortable they likely wont notice a difference. My kid sleeps 11 hours on this mattress with no problem. Sheets: I had extra cribs sheets, so I use that, Slightly loose. Would recommend getting the appropriate pack and play mattress sheets for a better fit.
