I do not have a lawn, but instead all perennials. Recently, I had problems with my drip irrigation system and was having to manually water my garden which takes 2 1/2 hours and after the first day, I went online and ordered this hose and an expanding hose so I could compare. I was so over the heavy, bulky, rubber hoses I had and spent so much time just managing the hose instead of the watering. This hose is fantastic! No real kinking, light weight, and I can focus on actually watering the plants. Can't speak to the durability yet as I've only had it 2 weeks but so far, so good. And, it looks so much nicer on my hose holder and takes up much less room.
