Didn’t know I could be so happy about a hair dryer
My old cheap conair FINALLY died alleviating me of guilt for shopping for a new hair dryer if I really didn’t NEED a new one. I did my research, went to ulta, and almost bought a $200 hair dryer before nearly gagging in the checkout line, questioning reality, and deciding to put it back. Let’s just say, this one is “very similar” to one they sell, but at 1/3 of the price. Still expensive for a hairdryer, but I sucked it up and went for it. Things I love about this hair dryer: 1. Super quiet! I drooled at the idea of a Dyson for years. However, after testing them at several stores, although quiet they make this very high-pitched tone I thought would not only drive me crazy, but also my dog. Thanks to this one, there will be no more waking up my entire household with the roar of the hair dryer when getting ready in the morning. 2. Super light! My hand used to ache and fingers become numb from holding previous hair dryer. Is that a thing for anyone else? #Firstworldproblems #delicateflower? 3. Narrow air-stream! This is the unexpected game-changer for me. I didn’t realize you can dry your hair, and not end up looking like a warthog in heat afterwards. Most hairdryers have such a wide air-stream, you end up blowing hot air on your face and scalp, making summer-time hair drying an only-for-a-funeral type of decision. I’m happy to report, not a bead of sweat on my upper lip after use! Y’all know what I’m talking about. Highly recommend. Worth the money, even for a hair dryer cheapskate like me.
