I was so excited to see this series that I purchased the DVD's from the UK. By the way, the DVD's will not play on a regular DVD player . . . just to let you know if you are considering doing the same. This series is based on Jane Austen's last novel that she did not complete before her death. It takes some pretty big liberties with the story line and if you are a Jane Austen purist, you may find it offensive (nudity of Sydney from back). However, I loved this series. The chemistry between the two main characters is wonderful. I have already watched it through two times and hope for a season two!! Please give it a chance and post a positive review if you love it! They may do a season two and we may get our typical happy ending if the USA is supportive!!
