What would be the word for a combination of elation and horror?? I cannot believe what this vacuum is picking up! I am horrified by all of the dirt and hair we have been living in!! We are a busy family of 5 with 2 dogs and 1 cat that admittedly shed a lot. However, I sweep, swiffer, and/or vacuum daily and thought I was staying on top of it AND we have regular professional housecleaning every other week. My new Dyson arrived yesterday afternoon and I have been vacuuming everything I can since then- furniture, carpets, hardwoods, stairs, pet beds...unbelievable! It is lightweight and maneuvers easily around furniture and gets right up against baseboards. I will be interested to see if I notice a difference in overall cleanliness of my floors (house is mostly hardwoods) and rugs over time. Like another reviewer said, I can't believe I'm writing a five star review about a vacuum (or any review about a vacuum for that matter) but this one is amazing.
