Cable for now and the future. I have AT&T Fiber 1000 which is blazing fast. I recently had troubles and they said my modem was bad and they replaced it. The Ethernet cord from the modem to the wall was loose so I replaced it with one of those yellow CAT 5 because that was all that I had. Bad idea. I ordered this CAT 8 and I am getting 1000 mbps in every test I perform. Absolutely great cord especially if you are a gamer and I have two gamers in my home.
