This was a why not purchase, it appeared to be a good deal and I wanted another robot vacuum. Reviews were good and said it was quiet. If I didn't like it I was going to return it.. I've had this for a couple of weeks now and I love it much more than the roomba. Omg its quiet!!!!!!!! My kids leave it alone,, and I forget that its to vacuum. My regular vacuum cleaner is way louder. I have two dogs with various flooring. I hardly ever lose it like I did the roomba. The remote is awesome. Haven't tried it with the alexia or even loaded the app yet. Lol. I haven't tried mopping yet, but will once I get my subfloor covered in wood. I got this on a cyber Monday deal and love it way more than I ever did my 900 dollar roomba. It easily transitions the hump btwn subfloor and and wood floor surfaces, same with throw rug. It does a great job picking up the dog hair, but it does stop like any robot vacuum when it picks up a dog toy thats gone missing under the couch. Even when that happens its easy to fix. At that time, I generally empty the bin and the roller. It has only one roller and much easier to clean and put back in than the roomba. Another plus is it has no issues getting back to its base. The base isn't sliding around either which was an issue with the roomba. That may be because its sitting on the wood as subfloor so it has better grib, but still a huge plus. For those with pets, the first couple days you will run it 2 or 3x to get the pet hair up, but for me with a Sheltie and Australian Sheppard miniature once its under control/ all that hidden hair picked up once a day does it. Just be aware if you slack off with daily vacuum you will have to run it a couple of times to get it all up. However, its not like your doing the work. You can leave and its all done when you return Photos show the transition btwn flooring, how the base is, and what the roller is like and dustbin. There is also a sample vacuum to show how loud it is when vacuuming and going to base when its low on power.
