Greta Louise is 14 years old and about 75 lbs. She's a true Heinz 57 but is mostly Staffordshire and lab. Her hips are her only medical problem so she's on gabapentin, galliprant, and xanax for some anxiety. We started this 3 weeks ago and if the prize is right, she gallops to you like a big awkward, hungry horse. She actually looks like she feels better! This is a huge improvement and this treat is the only change we've made. She galloped after my wife for a piece of cheese in laps around the yard. She hasn't run (with carefree glee) in a long time. She loves the treats! These first 4 weeks, she'll get 3, twice a day: 3 in the AM and 3 in the PM. We'll move her down in dosage starting next week. I feel much better knowing that at least for now, our old Dame is feeling pretty good.
