Last Resort
Although I hate the idea of glue traps I also hate the idea of mice in my house. I have been battling a mouse pack in my house for 5 months. I have tried everything from humane traps, sealing everything, plastic snap traps, wooden traps, and I even resorted to a Rodent control company. They told me mice are extremely hard to catch in the home and pretty much keep doing what I'm doing. So after 2 weeks of doing strictly what they suggested I almost gave up until someone told me about glue boards. I think they are horrible but I also think my 4 month old infant now having to sleep in my room because they love her room is more horrible. For some reason these little mice love my children's rooms. So long story short I ordered a 36 pack of glue boards. Since peanut butter hasn't worked in any of my traps previously I did turkey bacon partially cooked and crasins. This morning I woke up and already caught one mouse and on another glue board some fur of one the managed to get away. Yes is was sad but I took him on a long car ride away from my home and poured a tiny tiny bit of oil on his paws that were stuck and within seconds he was off. I do however think if you can't get them free or don't want to as mentioned in a previous comment a lady suggested essentially putting them out of their misery. I personally would not just throw them away alive. But I'm happy to say I finally caught one mouse now to catch the rest!
