Bigger, but less stinky poo. Solved my problems.
My fickle cat appears to love this food. I found something that doesn't make my cat sick. Jump to the bottom of you dont want to read what I went through before finally trying CRAVE. I've only had her a few months now and the previous owners were feeding her Iams indoor... which I believe is gimmicky garbage, marketing as a quality food. Sorry, not sorry, Iams sucks. I would never choose it. Kitty came to me quite skinny, her lovely raggamuffin hair falling out, and excessive dander. Despite an always full bowl. She would go 1-3 days not touching her food. then when she would eat, she would throw up. It's a huge reason they gave up on her. She would be wandering the house all day, meowing constantly and everyone was sick of cleaning up or stepping in kitty puke. Luckily, I have some professional experience in this. First things first. I put kitty on scheduled & portioned eating. That way I could know how much she was eating and how often. And I watched her habits for just over a week. While on the scheduled meals of the Iams, she would still wait till she was starving to eat... and then throw up. I did not even finish off what they gave me with the cat. ITS GARBAGE. I did not bother trying to mix it with the new foods. Clearly it was making her sick. On to new food. I tried first the Rachel Ray Noutrish, which she was nervous to try; which is fair considering she's spent years getting puke sick every time she eats... Honestly, I dont think she cared much for the taste of it... she would still wait a length of time before eating. But there was less vomiting. Only twice through a whole bag of it, compared to every time she ate the other. And honestly, she may have been just still residually sick or sickened by the eating process. She's been suffering for years. I tried some wet food also; she would lick the gravy or the gelatinous parts, but wait until she was really hungry before she would eat, but she threw those up too. After reading the label I wanted to try CRAVE. I like that it has so many natural & healthy ingredients, and is grain free. I made the first purchase reluctantly, because its kind of pricey... but I got it anyway. This poor creature deserves to not be sick all the time, so I'm willing to try. I waited until I knew she was hungry before offering it to her. Unlike RRN, she did not walk away from the bowl when I put the portion in front of her. She was curious. Sniffing. And tried it right away. She ate the whole portion in one setting on the first go, which she never does. And no vomit. Not once. So... CRAVE it will be. And the litter box smells a ton better. Honestly, it's the least stinky cat poo I've ever had to deal with... and she's looking pretty healthy. The dander is less and the shedding is better too. Thank you.
