The wife and I like a lot of this chair's features. I would have given it a 5 star rating if the seat tube frame wasn't part of the front of the seat. It only causes a discomfort when a person is reclined with the legs stretched out. The bar causes a pressure point on our hamstrings. The Tommy Bahama chair armrests are of an overall stronger design when compared to the Nautica chair's armrests. We also like the larger cooler and storage pouch located on the seat back of the Tommy Bahama chair. The Tommy Bahama chair weights 8 lbs. The Nautica chair weights 7 lbs. I've added a couple of photos comparing the Tommy Bahama chair to the Nautica chair. In both photos the Nautica beach chair is on the left side and the Tommy Bahama chair is on the right side. In the 1st photo you can see that the Nautica beach chair doesn't have the seat tube frame across the front of the seat. In the 2nd photo you can see that the Tommy Bahama chair's armrests are a stronger design (for seat back position). In the end we choose the seating comfort of the Nautica chair versus the other better design features of this chair. We already have a nice cooler with storage pouch. We aren't worried about the armrests since neither of us are over 200 lbs (both of these chairs are rated for 300lbs). We would really like it if they combined the best features of each chair into one product.
