Okay, all in all, for the price this heater isn't too bad. It does what it's supposed to do. That being said, there are two important things to know before purchasing this heater, especially if you're doing all the wiring while you're waiting for delivery. 1. The .pdf manual supplied here on Amazon states that supply wiring should be 10 gauge. That .pdf is old and the new manual that comes with the heater states that you are to use 8 gauge. This makes better sense considering the wattage of the unit. 2. Amazon is going to suggest that you purchase the "Honeywell Manual 4 Wire Premium Baseboard/Line Volt Thermostat(YCT410B1000/U)" with this heater since others purchased them together... DO NOT PURCHASE THIS THERMOSTAT. The thermostat is rated for 22 Amps and has 12 gauge leads. If you read the 1-Star reviews of this thermostat you will find they are riddled with complaints that "it fried" or "the wires melted" or "it almost burned my garage down," along with quite a few pictures of melted thermostats. Invariably, these people likely used their thermostats for this, or similar, high-wattage heaters. IT CANNOT HANDLE THE LOAD.
