I have a non-verbal child!
My daughter has Rett Syndrome and is non-verbal and these were great to help her communicate. Dependable and useful. We even used them in therapy. I printed out photos of words and laminated them with clear packing tape. Then I attached velcro to each picture and the same side velcro to each buzzer. I have about 20 photos to switch out. When I switch them, I re-record to match the picture. It really helps during eating time. I put a buzzer in front of her food, one in front of her drink and one that says "all done" with a picture that is the sign "all done". She just pushes the one she needs to communicate with. These are a great buy considering the "Big Mac" button is $250 and it's just one button! It does the same thing but with this product, you get 4!
The only downside, you have to scream into the damn thing or its quiet. The louder you scream into it, the louder you hear the recording. Great dependable purchase! My daughter is almost 3 and has used these for a few months and thrown them around and they still work!
