I recently replaced my water softener, but was concerned if the new system was working correctly, so I ordered these hard water test strips to confirm. I compared hard water vs. bottled water vs. water from my new softener (see attached picture). These test strips were on point! The hard water test strip color was 'brown', which matches the hard water rating on the scale included with the kit. The bottled water test strip was 'green', which represents soft water. And finally, the test strip from the new water softener was also 'green'. This increased my confidence that the new water softener was working correctly. Overall, I'm satisfied with this product and would highly recommend it.
