UPDATE: saved from the worst coffee accident
Seriously, if you have an LV with ANY amount of vachetta on it, you better put this in your cart first. I have used Apple Garde for the past few years. I let a friend borrow my other can for her bags and she kept it. LOL I just recently bought a brand new Pochette Metis and the first thing that came to mind was Apple Garde. I immediately ordered another can when I remembered I no longer had my other can. If this is your first time treating a bag, be sure to protect the area and cover the canvas and your area with a paper towel to avoid the overspray. Spray the entire vachetta area, let it dry for 30 minutes and then repeat a second time. I repeat this process every few months to keep my vachetta looking nice. This stuff really does work and will keep your bag protected. I still recommend avoid liquids, creams and hand sanitizer around your bags but this really does help keep it protected when you're suddenly caught in the rain. Attached are pictures of my brand new Pochette Metis that I just treated, along with my Graceful MM that I have had for a few years. If you notice on the Graceful, there are no water spots, just beautiful honey vachetta. EDIT: Shortly after I posted this review I took a trip to Starbucks where the unimaginable happened. I spilled iced coffee ALL OVER the vachetta of my one week old Pochette Metis. Needless to say I was very upset. Even though it had been treated with Apple Garde I braced myself for the worst since I have NEVER spilled so much liquid, much less coffee on a bag. I cleaned up the mess and did not see any apparently damage but was curious if there would be any residual spots over time. THERE ARE NOT! I am ready to quit my job and become a spokeswoman for Apple Garde! Hope this review helps!
