My family cooks ………..this separator will be great because of the amount of stock we make and freeze as well as many other purposes. Recently we used to skim fat off from a turkey we had grilled. I am adding to my original review because when I first read about it, many buyers said it cracked or leaked. I have used this now many times and have had success each time. It is plastic so you cant put hot hot hot liquids in it. I have been cooling down liquids to 100F or so and then use this to separate oil, grease, fat whatever out of it. It works great. I have not had any problems with it and the peeler (free gift that came with it) is the best peeler I have ever had. Fabulous and still giving it a 5 star review.
