This hutch was exactly what I was hoping for, cute and decent quality. The quality is better than that of my local feed/tack store or Petsmart. I fully anticipated having to reinforce this hutch for the outdoors and simply invested in 10' x 24" of 14 gauge 1" x 1" wire mesh, purchased at my local OSH. I will also be adding legs to keep my pesky terriers from being too interested. Size wise I do believe it will be adequate for my mini rex but would not recommend it for multiple occupants, except possibly dwarf bunnies or guinea pigs. Simply put: This would work very well indoors but invest in $50 worth of upgrades before putting outside. *Oh and as far as assembly goes, at 8 months pregnant, I was able to assemble this hutch in about 10 minutes :)*
