Pretty nice product!
FIRST: If you have a hard-lined water-feed to the toilet, you will need to take a run to the hardware store to get a short flexible line (about $3.00 US) or you won’t be able to install it. That aside, the COVID-19 lockdown just started. I ordered these just as the toilet paper craze kicked off to avoid having to come to fisticuffs over something so ridiculous. I had been meaning to get a few anyway rather than buying a ton of toilet paper and wet wipes from the bulk buy store that we typically do. I selected this model due to its look and simplicity as well as the connections being made of metal. It’s installation is pretty straight forward and I didn’t need to use the seat spacers. I’ve used it twice so far but before this I’ve never used one before. I have had to adjust where I normally sit on the seat. I used to sit a bit forward and not really make contact with the back of the seat, but you will have to with this (and I assume with any other similar product) or you won’t get the stream where you need it and get a little splashing out of the toilet. So just make sure you’re sealing up the seat opening before use. The water was a bit cold (not that this product has anything to do with that) but we are barely out of winter in the Midwest so I’m sure that may have a little to do it. However, the temperature is bearable. The pressure is fine at the first click, you’ll get a steady stream where you need it. Going up from their you will start constricting your “exit” a bit. The product leaves me fairly clean. I still have to wipe once or twice to make sure it’s all off, but I’m more confident in my cleanliness than I was before. Maybe with a little more practice I won’t need to use the paper for anything other than to dry! My only complaint so far is that it’s too white, not porcelain white so it stands out a bit and it may be susceptible to accidental damage if someone were to put weight on the handle by accident. These things make me a little nervous adding risk of a leak to my home. Overall happy with it. Trying to get my family onboard and updating their hygiene. It’s on every toilet so there is no excuse.
