Due to the pandemic we cancelled our long held gym membership. I have a cage for bench presses, etc., but was finding it kind of awkward to use in our cramped downstairs that is also a music room and a computer room. Initially I went with the tubes with handles and was getting by with those. I saw some stuff on YouTube about the flat loop bands and found these on Amazon. I can't speak to durability because I have only had them a few weeks. Can't say anything about traveling as we are here for the duration of the pandemic. What I can say is that I no longer use the tubes with handles. If you have access to good anchor points, this set of bands are all you need for a complete workout. For less than a month's gym membership fee this set has made me feel good about working out at home and I no longer miss all the machines and weights.
