When I first saw this item, I was surprised that the ratings were all positive. That never happens! Well, seeing is believing and I say "Great product, good work to the company. I would have given this 5 stars except for a few things regarding the heat. First, I would have liked more of the mat to be heated. It only heats in a small area. Also, there is only one setting--on or off. I have fiddled with the controller, but the only thing that you can change the intensity on is the massage as far as I can tell. Also, like some other reviewers, I think half an hour is too short for the timer. One hour would be better. These are both minor. I can always add my own heat pad and turn the mat back on. I was most impressed with the massaging action. I never anticipated the complexity of the sequences it runs. Very relaxing, feels so good. I am not one to hesitate to return a product that falls short. I have too few dollars to waste them on an item that doesn't satisfy and I don't mind a trip to the post office. I will be keeping the mat.
