So originally I ordered the 27’ lights. I was somewhat reluctant to spend $40 on a string of lights that only have 12 bulbs... but we have 10 acres and it was the best solution for lighting by our pond. When I first hung them, I was slightly disappointed at the lighted length.. (didn’t read the specs) but they work very well.. color is warm. So I kept them. (Photo is of 27’ strand) Needing more lighting, where we don’t have power, I decided to order another set. This time I bit the bullet and ordered the longer set. Shipping was fast, packaging was nice.. Hung our lights and felt that something was off.. I’m looking at the 27’ strand and the 48’ next to each other and the spacing is completely different! 20” verses 36” So in reality you paying the extra $25 for an extra 20 feet of lighting, but your only getting 3 more lights! (Should have read the specs better) My bf threw the box away before I realized the difference, otherwise I would have probably returned them and ordered another short strand. I just don’t think it’s fair to charge $25 more to only get 3 more bulbs.
