This is an amazing documentary. Take an incredible, brilliant, compassionate, very private man—Pete Buttigieg—and his loving, incandescent husband—Chasten Glezman Buttigieg—and put them in a grueling national campaign with an international spotlight. We see the stresses of a campaign in real time. The candidate and campaign gave the film maker unprecedented access to the entire process, and with a real vision and great skill he gave us a unique documentary about a love story wrapped in a presidential campaign. Pete Buttigieg is now serving the country with devotion, brilliance, and vision as Secretary of the Department of Transportation, and we are all the better for having him in a position of national leadership. I hope he will become our president while I'm still around to vote for him and enjoy his administration. I'm going to watch this again.
