The Gods have bestowed upon us non deserving parents the most amazing item in the entire world. My 3 year old was on his third week of not sleeping and waking up in the middle of the night to sneak into the pantry, eat marshmallows and chocolate, and then proceed to dance around the house like crazy loud banshee. During all these sleepless nights a very nice friend, who has now become my best friend just for suggesting this, told me to get a "ready to wake clock" I looked around and there's a lot of them out there. I liked this one because the dog is cute and my son relates to inanimate objects (hopefully that won't be problem later...). I also watched the video attached to the description and it explained the entire clock very nicely. I noticed this one had very clear instruction on how to set the clock and turn off alarms, etc. So I bought it and we waited. It arrived just in time.. It was extremely easy to set up. The directions are right on the back door so really it's great. It did bring a charger, but I am happy to report I've been using it with batteries for the last 2 weeks-to keep out of the reach of baby hands and it's going strong. Doesn't drain the batteries at all. You can set two alarms, one we have for weekdays and one for weekends. Then there's also a nap alarm. My son LOVES it. He knows that "red is for bed" and "Green is for awake" Every morning, after I've had the most blissful sleep of my life, I hear him saying from inside his room "The LIGHT IS GREEN! Time to WAKE UP!" He won't leave his room, until the light turns green. Since we got it he has SLEPT ALL NIGHT! Like what kind of WITCHCRAFT is this!??? How does this work???! I didn't even believe people when they told me it would work! But it does!!!! I cannot recommend this enough, specially if you are suffering from lack of sleep. Thank you for inventing this! Thank you for using your witchcraft powers for good. If I could 10 out of 10 I like it so much, I've considered making an altar for it.
