My initial impression is that the gauge is accurate out of the box - the pressure matches up with two of my other "known good" pressure gauges in the 30-40 psi range. I haven't compared it in other ranges yet (low ATV type or higher pressure trailer tire) but it is spot on in my cars, truck, and Jeep. I did notice the dial glowing brightly as I put it in the glove box of my truck, as well. I had forgotten about the glow-in-the-dark dial.
