The instructions are very minimal. I did exactly as it said and only one camera would display. I couldn't find any info online so I emailed the support number on the brochure. I wasn't sure if I'd get a response but within 45 minutes I did. Their info solved the issue. I even received another email with more detailed instructions that I will share.
There seems to be confusion over which wires do what. I have tested them all, so I thought I would share my results. Black is ground and Red is 12V (the specs claim up to 24V, but I only tested at 12V). The confusion comes from the remaining colored leads. Each of them is designed to give a camera "priority" when a signal is fed in through the wire. For example, if you provide a voltage to the brown wire, it will cause camera 4 to go full screen and "turn off" the other cameras. In my testing, I was able to get two cameras to go split screen to display two cameras and ignore the remaining two. This is what I intend to do when I mount the cameras in the back of my car--since the cameras do not have the 170 degree field of vision that others do, I will hook up two cameras at the back of my car and hook their "priority" wires to the backup lights (so I put the car in reverse and both rear facing cameras come up on the screen).
So here is which color controls "priority" for which camera:
Blue: AV1
White: AV2
Green: AV3
Brown: AV4
Since the instructions tell you to connect Red and Brown to hot, this would force AV4 (camera 4) to be on full screen, not allowing the other cameras to connect.
